I have been working as an online teacher since 2017 and there is nothing else I would rather do. My students can sense that I am passionate about this and they feel confident and enthusiastic about my lessons. My 2 years experience in Customer Service has taught me a great deal about communicating effectively and patiently, dealing with difficult situations and feeling empathetic towards others. It also taught me about cultural sensitivity and diversity of character. My ongoing interest in Psychology is also helping me understand my students better and satisfying their educational needs. I also took a teaching course and got a TEFL certificate so that I can be better at what I do. I can adapt my teaching style to the student, I can actively correct mistakes or ignore them, I can ask plenty of questions or none, I can have a normal conversation, etc.
