Judged international composition competition I specialize in computer music, sound design, as well as acoustic composition. If you are interested in more, I also specialized in algorithmic music, using computer codes to help generate music. About the Course: Learning music composition is essentially further from learning music theory, DAW, or any other tools. It is about the skill and approach to group sounds together in a logical manner to create inner coherence. While mastering the skill, you can use it to tell a story, to express emotions, or even doing things like testing a mathematical equation or scientific data. Although I can still teach you all you want to know about music theory, counterpoint, orchestration, DAW, sound design, and more. I can also teach you how to make your music sounds like anyone you want to be. But the most important aspect of learning music composition is about how to gather your ideas and develop your own musical language. I want to help you to explore the possibilities, expand your territories, and eventually shape your own musical voice and musical tools. In my class you will learn all the techniques, skills and theories you need, as well as developing your own styles and tastes of sounds to be a great composer. Teaching Style: I think hand-on style in teaching composition is the only way logic. I will give you some challenges for you to do, in which you will learn a lot of core concepts in music composition. In the mean time I will talk about your composition and give you some advices along the way. Please keep trying and have an open mind.
