Daniel FishmanJun 17, 2024I've had a number of lessons now with Hitoshi and it's always been a positive, engaging and enjoyable process. He's an excellent teacher that provides a good lesson plan and also flexible, with plenty of room to ask questions and explore different topics and ideas. As a DJ he also has a passion and knowledge of music which led us to interesting discussions of music and culture which I really appreciate. Hitoshi's skill with English is also quite good, so explanations of how the Japanese language works are precise and very helpful. It's not that I miss last October all that much, especially after someone important had disappeared into thin air last month. The thing is, i wrote something, which mentioned something being 'outside the window', as part of the composition at the time. '数分後、私は窓の外を見ました、そして、観覧車があることに気付いた'. Seriously the piece about the Osaka story was just nice.
