BACKGROUND My name is Lila Rozario, I am British, born and raised in London, England. I have a good standard of education, where I have achieved: 1 -BA Honours in Geography and Development Studies 2 -MA in Environment and Development Studies 3 -PGCE IN TESOL (teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), EXPERIENCE 1 -I have had several years of experience of teaching English online to children, teenagers and adults in a classroom setting, private tutoring and online. 2- I have been teaching online since the year 2014,. 3- I have been teaching subjects such as Daily English, Business English, Teenage English, Pre-entry Cambridge English and preparation for International examinations such as IELTS in groups and one to one sessions online. TEACHING STRATEGIES As part of my teaching I incorporate different learning and teaching strategies, to ensure that learners get to practice, speaking, listening and reading skills. 1- I often get learners to read from the teaching materials and do learning activities such as role-plays, discussions and filling gap activities. 2- Importantly I use teaching crops to aid my teaching, such as the blackboard to learn new letters and words. 3-Flashcards to reinforce new vocabulary and cut out paper to teach students about shapes and colours.
