My lessons are fun and effective. I take a student-centered, interactive teaching approach, with emphasis on speaking and listening skills. I use concrete examples and real-life situations to help my students understand how the language works. Hi, my name is Iryna and I am a native Russian and Ukrainian instructor. I was born and raised in Ukraine, Kharkiv city, that is on the border Ukraine and Russia, that`s why the both languages are my native. I have been teaching since 2013. I started as a private face to face tutor for foreign students and 3 years ago I run into online teaching. I`m a friendly and patient person and I love helping my students feel comfortable. I`m passionate about international communication. In my free time I enjoy travelling, do yoga. As well I`m a big fan of reading and storytelling I hold a MD in applied linguistics from the Kharkiv National University. In addition, I received a TESOL certificate in 2017. Through my intensive studies, I identified and developed teaching methods tailored to students’ ages, backgrounds, knowledge levels and learning challenges. My professional experience enable me to create individualized lesson plans that best support each student’s learning style, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
