ðĨðĨðĨPROFESSIONAL MILESTONES ðĨðĨðĨ
ðĨ Having a large number of students PASS the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System in English Language Arts (reading, comprehension, writing, vocabulary), as well as Mathematics
ðĨ Listening to my students have multiple conversation exchanges in English after several months of practicing how to appropriately greet each other and communicate about specific enjoyable topics.
ððððð SUCCESS STORIES ððððð
ð Thomas was able to go from speaking using 1-2 word requests to elaborating with details (adjectives) when requesting using 4+ word sentences in English.
ð Laith was able to communicate in Arabic fluently and English at a beginner level. After 10 in-home sessions, he was able to verbally communicate his feelings, greetings, and with visual prompts he was able to label the days of the week, months of the year, and weather in English.
ð Henry went from being able to write/type simple sentences to writing a paragraph after a month of 1:1 sessions (10-15 sessions).
ð Jasmine (beginner/pre-intermediate level) was able to understand most of what was being said in a restaurant setting, but was not confident in ordering food. She could order food at a restaurant using single words. After virtually practicing with me, she was able to feel confident when listening and responding in English.
ð While teaching English in Mexico, Spanish and Italian speakers Larisa and Gulietta, learned letter sounds, sight words, and a wide variety of functional English vocabulary through our daily lessons.
I LOVE teaching and watching my students LEARN. I have a RIGOROUS background in education. I am ORGANIZED, great time-management, easy to talk to, and I KNOW HOW TO EDUCATE at a wide variety of levels. Once we have a trial session, you will 100% want to learn in my Zoom classroom ðĪ
I have taught for almost 10 years in a classroom setting or in-home and have taught online for 1.5 years. I specialize in helping students develop the ability to express themselves in a way that matches their personality. Looking forward to working with YOU ð
Thank you sooooo much for having him focused all the time!! Heâs improving his English speaking and writing I can tell. Glad that you found happy in teaching him as well. Wish you a lovely weekendð
