Result score: 8 Edes is a very nice teacher. I remember went to her for my IELTS test (Writing and Speaking), and it was a week before my exam. I wouldn’t achieve the marks I want if it weren’t for her useful suggestion on my writing style. She read almost every essay I wrote and unlike other teachers, she will give suggestion that’s useful for you to improve on you current writing style, instead of forcing students to write like the teachers style. It worked for me, I tend to make many small mistakes when I am writing my articles. It’s much easier to focus on your current problem than changing your way of writing completely and start from scratch. As for speaking, she is very encouraging and constantly giving feedback on how to speak more like a native English speaker and how to add more depth to the content. I felt relaxed when I was speaking to her,and the suggestions she gave me really reminded me on what to say during the exam. If you are always stressed when speaking with someone that speaks better English than you, it won’t be a problem when you are speaking with Edes. I scored an overall 8 in the exam and 7 for both writing and speaking. Now I can finally move on from this test and study my master degree.
