I have prepared many visual phonetic cards to help you learn the most basic sounds. Once you master phonetics, whenever you see a new vocabulary, you will definitely pronounce it better. M- Mimic To learn to talk like an American. I suggest you watch a lot of American news and mimic how the anchor talks. Turn on the caption so you can say along with the anchor as the news report is progressing. B—Boldly. This is a more psychological term that encourages you to speak without hesitation. As non-native American speakers, we are afraid to speak out loud. We often over-concern people who don’t understand. You have to pass this psychological barrier. Take the step of talking out loud, even though it’s wrong, is ok. Don’t feel discouraged or defeated when you make mistakes. Always welcome people to correct your pronunciation. C- Communication. This is to actually look for a way of practicing your English. That’s say you live in Taiwan, you may look for some American friends to have a conversation on a regular basis.
