In today's session, we discussed the themes and symbols in Lord of the Flies, especially in Chapter 4~6. Julia has a thorough understanding of the book and she shared with me her points of view. I asked a question about how could it be that Piggy's hair didn't grow longer over time. Julia gave me a reasonable and convincing answer. We also talked about the shift in power, the irony expressed in the novel and the death of innocence. Thank you, Julia. You helped me a lot.
